Sarah McCarroll, MFA, PhD
ABOUT ME
I was born in Columbia, MO, but if you ask me where home is, I'll tell you the mountains of western North Carolina.
Since 20011, I've been an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Georgia Southern University, where I teach courses in Script Analysis, Theatre History, Costume Design, and Stage Makeup, and am a member of the Irish Studies Faculty. I also run the Costume Shop for the Theatre and Performance Program.
When I have time, I enjoy folk dance: English Country/Playford, Contra, Appalachian Square, and historical social dance. I'm also a great lover of art history and a traveler; I've visited England and Ireland, France, Austria, the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, and Greece. My bucket list is tentatively entitled "Sarah Eats and Drinks Her Way Through the Great Art Museums of the World."
This isn't a great art museum, but a 16th century pub in Stratford-upon-Avon should count, right?
